How to spend the last 24 hours of your year

Last 24 hours in 2014So, how many times this Holiday season have you heard / said / thought something like this:

…in 2015 I am going to…..
…My new years Resolutions are….
…I learned in 2014 not to do…..
…future, blah, blah, blah…..
…past, blah, blah, blah…..

But what about just for today?

Right now.
This very moment.

Let’s just take a look at the next 24-hours.

That’s what’s important.

I have a novel idea on how to spend this last day in 2014:

Set aside an hour or two for some yoga postures.

It’s simple, really.
Standing and breathing.
Waving your arms around slowly.
Rolling around on the floor (maybe looking like a beached whale)
On a 2′ x 6′ piece of rubber.

Your body and your mind will thank you.

I’ll be teaching live at 7am on New Years Eve Day, and I’d be delighted to have you join me and the gang.

But you can also roll out the mat in the comfort of your home and “join us virtually” with my complimentary yoga download from my LIVE Yoga in the Park class  .

Or , if you want to mix it up, heck, go to another instructors class. (google: yoga + your city……you will be amazed with the never ending string of results).  Last I checked,  I don’t have a monopoly on yoga classes.

I simply want to encourage you to participate, and to give you a gentle reminder that there are alternatives to living in the past or in the future.

I have found that by regularly diving into my yoga asana practice, this allows me to unlock that part of me to live in the present moment.
My wish for you during these last 24 hours in 2014, is this:

Do something.
And do it with intention and with complete presence.
